About the Bob Hendricks Memorial 5k Run/Walk
The course runs along paved paths between a park and the local police station, with one pedestrian bridge crossing over the highway. The terrain is flat the whole way, and the route is clearly marked. It is a road race that honors a husband, father, and dedicated endurance athlete lost to pancreatic cancer, with proceeds going to pancreatic cancer research and patient support.
Parking is along the first set of fields at the park. Registration, the start, and the finish are all near the dog park, which makes the staging area easy to find and gives the morning a neighborhood feel.
