About the Blue Ostrich Wine Run Turkey Trot 5k
The course starts and finishes at Blue Ostrich Winery and Vineyard, spending most of its distance on open roads before looping back through the vineyard rows themselves. The property has a history as an ostrich ranch, and there are still ostriches on the grounds, so expect some curious company along the route. The terrain is open and scenic ranch country.
Packet pickup happens on race morning, opening about an hour before the start. There is no pre-race pickup, so plan to arrive with a little time to spare. After you finish, wine is poured at the winery. Age group awards are self-serve: check your results online, then stop by the registration table if you placed.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Blue Ostrich Wine Run Turkey Trot 5k has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
