About the Bloomingdale High School Red, White & Blueberry Memorial Day 5K Run and Walk
The course starts at the high school, heads east out of town on open ground, then picks up a shaded rail trail for the return leg back to the school entrance. The mix of open road and tree-covered trail gives the second half a different feel from the first, and the shade is welcome if the morning runs warm.
The race wraps up in time to walk into downtown for the Memorial Day Parade later that morning. Both events share the same town, so sticking around after you finish makes easy sense.

The Bloomingdale High School Red, White & Blueberry Memorial Day 5K Run and Walk has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
