About the Birdeye
The longest route here runs point-to-point across Crowley's Ridge, a geographic oddity that rises out of the flat Delta, covering dirt roads, farmland, levees, and old country lanes before finishing back at a farm. A shorter trail option follows handbuilt single track, and a flat mile cuts through open pasture. The terrain is genuinely rural and a little remote.
The whole event wraps into a festival on the farm, with food, cold drinks, and live local music in the evening. The post-race gathering has a house-party feel rather than a finish-line tent. On-site accommodations are available on the farm property, worth reserving early if you want to stay close.
