About the Bill Heck CK Charity 5K

The course runs through and around Foster Park, starting next to the fire station and heading up into the woods along the Wildcat Walk of Excellence. The route turns around before reaching Sycamore Street, so it is an out-and-back through tree cover rather than a loop. The terrain mixes park paths with wooded trail.

Entry is by donation rather than a registration fee, and all contributions, cash or goods from a wish list, go directly to the Kokomo Humane Society. Same-day registration takes place at the fire station beside Foster Park, on race morning before the start.
