The course runs entirely inside Salt Fork State Park on hiking and bridle trails, marked with pink blazes and wooden signs. The terrain is rolling the whole way, and the organizers warn it is hard on trail shoes, which tells you something about what is underfoot. Several distance options share the same loop, so runners on longer efforts pass through more than once.
