About the Bigfoot Classic - Fort Worth
The Bigfoot Classic runs through the parkland around Marine Creek Lake, tracing a route through Texas woodlands and lakeside terrain. Several distance options mean runners of different abilities share the course, and the surroundings stay natural throughout. There is a costume contest woven into the event, with the crowd picking a winner, which gives the morning a character you do not find at most races.
A DJ keeps music going at the start and finish area the whole time, and every runner gets announced as they come across the line. Snacks and drinks are set up at the race rally tent after you finish. Trophies go to overall leaders and age group winners, with a separate trophy for the costume contest winner.
