About the Bigfoot 5k & 1 mile
The race runs through the mountains outside Honobia, a genuinely remote spot with no cell service and no gas nearby. The terrain reflects that setting: natural, quiet, and unhurried in character. Both a shorter and a longer distance option are offered, and the area's wooded mountain scenery is the main backdrop for the whole morning.
Registration happens on-site at the entrance to a property called Christ Acres, in a large white building. There are no ATMs, no gas stations close by, and most phones will not work out there, so arriving with cash, a full tank, and anything else you need is worth planning ahead.
