About the Big Door Wine Run Turkey Trot 5k

The course runs through a working vineyard, so the surroundings are rows of grapevines rather than a park or a road loop. The terrain reflects that: expect some variation underfoot. A pour of wine at the finish is the draw here, and the Thanksgiving-themed framing gives the morning a holiday feeling without leaning too hard into it.

Parking is at a nearby church, with shuttle service running from before the start through late morning. Packet pickup is race-morning only at the winery, opening an hour before your wave. Competitive runners who want to be eligible for age group awards need to start with the first wave; results are posted online, and awards are self-serve at the registration table.
