About the Big Cork Wine Run Turkey Trot 5k

The route winds through the vineyard itself, starting and ending at the winery, so you are running among the vines rather than on a road. The terrain is uneven in places, cross-country style underfoot, and the route does a couple of loops, which means you pass the finish area before you are actually done. It is hilly enough to notice but not enough to stop you.

Packet pickup opens race morning at the winery, starting an hour before the gun. After you finish, there is a pour of wine waiting at the venue, which is really the point of the whole thing.
