About the Beulah Challenge and OverIt Series
The courses start and finish at a local school, and the terrain splits by distance. The shorter routes stay mostly on paved and gravel valley roads, rolling gently through the heart of Beulah. The half-marathon adds a stretch of single-track hiking trails through Pueblo Mountain Park, where the elevation climbs noticeably before coming back down to the valley floor.
Parking is free at the school, with the entrance off a side street just east of the building. Bathrooms are inside the school at the start and finish. A food trailer serves burgers, sandwiches, and salads after the race, and complimentary coffee is available at the start and finish areas. A student stand sells breakfast burritos while supplies last.
