It is a road race on a straightforward route through Aynor, with several distance options including a relay format where pairs share the work. The surrounding area is open and flat.
Post-race activity, parking, and vendors are all gathered at the lawn beside the old elementary school property, right at the junction of Julius Goodson Avenue and the highway. The start and finish area doubles as the main gathering spot for the morning.
