About the Bethel Turkey Trot
The course winds through residential neighborhoods on a Thanksgiving morning start. It has enough terrain to make you work, so expect some hills rather than a flat neighborhood loop. The race benefits a pair of local nonprofits, one focused on disability services and one on parks and recreation, which gives it a clear civic purpose beyond the run itself.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at a local running shop on Stony Hill Road, with race-morning pickup available at the Municipal Center. Both options exist, so you are not forced into the day-before errand if your schedule is tight.
