About the Bergen 5k
The course starts on Parkview Drive, just outside Hickory Park, and runs through Bergen. The race benefits a local scholarship fund and a youth organization, so the crowd at the finish tends to reflect that, families and supporters who have a reason to be there beyond just cheering.
Packet pickup and registration open before the start, right at the park. Parking is at Hickory Park; the entrance off South Lake Avenue is the one to use, as the Parkview entrance is closed to vehicles on race day. Age group awards follow shortly after the last runners finish.

The Bergen 5k has been held every year since at least 2014. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
