About the Belmar Five Mile Run

The course runs along the oceanfront and then through local streets, so you get a stretch with ocean air and open sky before the route turns inland. The race draws a large crowd, and the field reflects that: all paces, serious competitors and neighborhood runners mixed together on the same roads. The whole thing benefits the local volunteer fire company.

Bibs are mailed out to anyone who registers early enough; if yours did not arrive, pickup runs through race week at listed locations and continues on race morning. The organizers strongly suggest getting your bib before race day to avoid lines at the start.
