About the Belchertown First Responders 5k Run and 1 Mile Walk
This race starts and finishes at a local brewery, which also hosts a live band after the course closes. The route itself is a standard road distance through Belchertown, put together by the police and fire associations as a fundraiser for both departments. Proceeds stay in town.
The brewery partnership means there is post-race beer on site. A band plays rock hits from a few decades back, with members of the police and fire departments among the musicians.
