About the Beigh 5K
The course starts at a hospital campus in Rock Creek and heads out along a rural paved road, returning the same way. It is hilly enough to feel it, and the turnaround sits at a covered bridge spanning the Grand River. Strollers and dogs are welcome, and a shorter untimed walk option turns around at the bridge.
Packet pickup happens race morning at the start, which keeps things simple. Afterward, there is an ice cream sundae bar. Awards go to overall winners and a broad spread of age groups, so most runners are in contention for something.
