The course runs through Centennial Park on trails, so expect dirt and natural surfaces rather than pavement. The park setting keeps things shaded in stretches, and the route has a natural, ungroomed feel to it. The event wraps around a beer festival afterward, which gives the finish area a party atmosphere with local craft brews on tap.
