About the Beautiful People 8th Annual Fun Run, Walk & Roll

The race takes place at Wickham Woodlands, a park setting that gives the course a natural, open feel. The event supports adaptive sports programs for children and young adults with disabilities, and that purpose shows up in the atmosphere on the course, where participants across ability levels share the same route.

The start area is at the Daniel Fratto Field of Dreams on State School Road. Registration opens before the race start, so there is no need to arrive the night before. Post-race, the gathering has the feel of a cause-driven community event rather than a purely competitive one.

Common Questions About the Beautiful People 8th Annual Fun Run, Walk & Roll

Will I finish last at the Beautiful People 8th Annual Fun Run, Walk & Roll?

Almost certainly not. Half the 5K field finished slower than 34:19, and the last recorded finisher came in around 1:07:21, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Beautiful People 8th Annual Fun Run, Walk & Roll a good first 5K?

How competitive is the Beautiful People 8th Annual Fun Run, Walk & Roll?
