About the Beat the Bridge 10k/5k
The course starts and finishes at Sturgeon City on the river in downtown Jacksonville, and the defining feature is what the name promises: you cross a pair of bridges. The route moves through the heart of downtown, so there is open sky and water on both sides when you are up on the spans. The race raises money for Semper Fi & America's Fund.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a dealership on Western Boulevard, with an earlier window at a local running store the same day. Race-morning pickup is at Sturgeon City, the same spot where you start. Parking is available at the start area and at several parks and street spots nearby in downtown.

The Beat the Bridge 10k/5k has been held every year since at least 2019. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
