About the Bearhole Road Race
The course runs through Twin Falls Resort State Park on park roads that roll with the surrounding mountain terrain. There are no flat stretches to coast on; the hills come at you steadily, with wooded hillsides on either side. It feels more like a park run than a road race, quiet and tree-covered, with the golf course clubhouse anchoring the start and finish.
The race starts near the park's golf course clubhouse, so parking and gathering happen in one spot. Post-race, you are already inside the park, which keeps the morning contained and easy to navigate.

The Bearhole Road Race has been held every year since at least 2026. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
