About the Bayonne Turkey Trot 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
The course runs inside Bayonne County Park, with both distances looping the park's interior fields and perimeter paths. The terrain is park-flat and the setting is open, so you can see other runners throughout. There is a finish-line clock for reference, though the race is not chip-timed.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Bayonne Museum on Broadway, and the organizers strongly suggest going then rather than sorting it out race morning. Parking inside the park is free but closes before the later start, so arriving early is worth it. The start area is near the columns at the center of the park, close to the bathrooms.
