About the 15th Annual Barrier Free 5K

The course runs through Hunters Run Golf & Racquet Club, so you spend most of the race moving through golf course scenery rather than streets. The terrain is flat the whole way, which makes it a smooth effort for most paces. The race benefits the expansion of Congress Avenue Barrier Free Park, a park built specifically to be accessible for people with disabilities.

Packet pickup is available the morning of the race at the start area, Congress Avenue Barrier Free Park, beginning well before the gun goes off. There is no separate pre-race pickup event to plan around, though one may be announced closer to race day.
