About the Badge of Hope Haunted 5K
This race runs at night through Camp Margaritaville, an RV resort in Auburndale. The Auburndale Police Department hosts it, and the proceeds go toward supporting local breast cancer patients and a Police Explorers program. Costumes are part of the deal, and a costume contest follows the run alongside an awards ceremony.
Packet pickup happens the evening before at the resort's main pavilion, near the entrance gate, with another pickup window on race day before the start. Friends and family are welcome to come for the post-race party even if they are not running.
