About the B.A.D SANTA TRAIL 5K
The course runs through Addison Oaks County Park on a blend of packed dirt and paved trails with rolling hills throughout. This is a winter race in Michigan, so expect anything: snow, ice, mud, or some combination of all three. The organizers are clear that the course will not be treated, so trail shoes or traction devices are worth planning ahead for.
Race-day registration and packet pickup open before the start, so there is no need to scramble the day before. After the race, there is hot cocoa, cookies, and a fire pit to warm up around. Park entry is free.
