About the B-Town Turkey Trot

The course runs along the B-Line Trail through Switchyard Park, a paved rail-trail corridor that cuts through the south side of Bloomington. The route is flat and straight, which makes it a reasonable choice for Thanksgiving morning whether you are racing hard or just moving. Age group awards go by clock time, so competitive runners should line up near the front.

Packet pickup runs the day before at a nearby venue called The Warehouse, with morning-of pickup available at the park for those who register late. The race starts from Switchyard Park's main pavilion, where music and a warm-up session happen before the gun. Strollers are welcome, and there are snacks at the finish.
