About the Azle Lake Run
The courses wind through the streets of Azle and start and finish at Ash Creek Park. Several distance options are available, including a color run. The race benefits local community organizations, which gives the morning a purpose beyond the running itself. Dogs are welcome on the course, and water and treats are set out for them along the way.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local fitness center in town. The color run option means some participants show up dressed for fun rather than a fast finish, which sets the tone at the start line.

The Azle Lake Run has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
