About the 2nd Annual Autism Firecracker 5K and 2 Mile Walk
This is a 5K run and a shorter walk held together, both open to runners and walkers across all ages. Proceeds go toward sensory-friendly park equipment for children in the community, so there is a clear local purpose behind the morning. The course starts and finishes near the town gazebo in Astoria.
Packet pickup happens at that same gazebo the evening before the race, with a second window available race morning before the start. Both options give you a chance to get sorted without rushing.
