About the ArtFest Half Marathon
The race starts and finishes at a historic former high school building that now houses an arts center, with courses that are USATF-certified and run through Moultrie. The routes cover several distance options, so runners at different levels are out on the roads at the same time. Awards go deep into age groups, which gives the race a competitive edge alongside the more casual distances.
Packet pickup opens race morning at the arts center, so there is no separate trip the day before. An awards ceremony follows in front of the theater, which keeps people around after they finish.
