About the Art on the Run
The route moves through Missoula as a guided tour of its public art, stopping at alley murals, a sculpture park, a large painted mural at a natural history center, and pieces connected to the local art museum. You are running between stops rather than racing, and there is genuinely something to look at when you get there.
The course ends at Caras Park, where a Latin heritage festival is already underway. A dance demonstration is part of the finish-line scene, and runners are welcome to join in. It is a useful thing to know before you show up expecting a quiet cooldown.
