About the ARK's Dawgy Dash 5K Run/Walk

The Dawgy Dash welcomes runners and walkers alike, and leashed dogs are welcome to join in too. The race benefits ARK's animal welfare work in Hart County, supporting the local shelter, spay and neuter programs, foster and adoption efforts, and outreach. The purpose behind the entry fee is tangible and close to home.

Groups are a big part of the culture here. Friends, coworkers, church members, and sports teams come out together, and there is a prize for the largest group, which gives the start line a social energy that solo racing rarely has.
