About the Arcadia-DeSoto County Habitat for Humanity 13th Annual Turkey Trot 5K
The course runs through Morgan Park along the Peace River, mixing paved sections with natural trail. The surroundings are open and pleasant, with the river nearby for most of the route. It benefits the local Habitat for Humanity chapter, so there is a purpose behind the morning beyond the running itself.
Packet pickup happens at the Habitat for Humanity office in the days before the race, with race-morning pickup available at the park. The start area is Morgan Park itself, which gives you room to warm up and keeps post-race gathering easy.
