The course loops out and back to the Oklahoma Aquarium, running through city streets in Jenks. Both distance options are USATF-sanctioned, and the routes stay on pavement rather than trails. Jogging strollers are welcome in the fun run, but dogs are not permitted on the course.
Free aquarium admission on race day is part of the deal, so sticking around after you finish is worth it. The finish line does come down at midday, so later starters will want to keep that in mind.
