About the AppleJack Fun Run & Walk
The route starts and finishes at Steinhart Park, and the surface keeps you honest. Expect brick stretches, gravel, and rougher ground mixed in along the way. It runs alongside the city's AppleJack Festival, so there is some energy in the air beyond a typical morning run. Strollers and leashed dogs are both welcome.
Parking is available at Steinhart Lodge nearby and at the high school up the road. Restrooms are at the start and finish. There is also a free kids run held in the park later in the morning, no registration needed for little ones.
