About the Apple Fest Run/Walk
The course heads out of town on a wooded backroad, away from crowds and noise. The hills are real throughout, with only a few flatter stretches to catch your breath. The Kickapoo River runs alongside part of the route, and fall foliage surrounds you. The finish is by a dam, and you can hear the crowd before the line comes into view.
Registration opens race morning at the Lions Shelter park, near the bridge. Same-day sign-up is available, which takes some pressure off the week before.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
