About the Apex- Halloween Hustle 5k

The course runs entirely on a greenbelt trail starting from the city recreation department, winding through woods, past a castle-themed playground and soccer fields, then turning back at a log cabin. The terrain rolls with enough hills to keep things honest, and the Halloween decorations, fog machines, and costume contest give the whole route a different kind of atmosphere than most fall races.

Cotton candy and popcorn are at the event, and a costume contest runs alongside the timed race. Age group awards go deep, and the race qualifies for the Peachtree Road Race, which is worth knowing if that is on your list.
