About the AOTK Nourish the Nations 5K Color Run/Walk
This is a color run format, so expect bursts of color powder along the way rather than a straight road race. The course is a walk-friendly distance, and the event draws people running for a cause: the organizing group works to address child hunger. The atmosphere reflects that purpose, with participants there for the mission as much as the miles.
Packet pickup and registration open early on race morning, so you do not need to make a separate trip beforehand. Awards go to the top finishers overall and by age group, with both gun and net time categories recognized.
