About the Another Clucking 5K

The course starts and finishes on the high school track, giving you a real sprint finish on a proper surface. From there it heads out through neighborhood streets, with a police escort at the front and volunteers managing traffic. Dogs are welcome on a short leash. A water and electrolyte station is positioned so runners pass it twice.

The race runs during Gizzard Fest, so the finish area is already buzzing when you get there. A pancake breakfast fundraiser and a beer tent are both on site, along with vendors and other festival activities. Restrooms are available at the start and finish.
