About the 2027 Annual Burns Park Run
The course winds through a tree-lined residential neighborhood near a university campus, running a loop that brings you back through the same streets you started on. The surroundings are quiet and shaded, with mature trees overhead. It draws a wide range of runners, from young kids in the short fun run to adults racing the longer distance.
Packet pickup happens on the two days before the race at spots near the park, including in front of the elementary school the event supports and at a warming hut nearby. Race-morning pickup is also available at the warming hut before the start. Post-race awards cover a broad set of age and category divisions and are announced at a ceremony in the park after the fun run wraps up.
