This race runs through Heritage Community Park on the east side of Corinth, and it carries a clear sense of purpose. It was founded to honor a teenage girl who made a habit of seeking out people on the edges of a crowd and making them feel included. That origin shapes the morning in a way that is hard to miss.
The race starts and finishes at the park. Registration opens early on race morning, so there is no pressure to sort everything out the night before. Post-race, the gathering has the feel of a reunion, with the scholarship it funds keeping the memory of Annalisa at the center of it all.
