This evening road race honors a young woman from Hopkinton who ran cross country in high school and continued running in college. Proceeds support a climbing foundation, a scholarship fund, and a neurological disease foundation in her name. A children's race runs before the main event, giving the start area a family feel. Local sponsors include an ice cream shop and a dental group.
