About the Angel Run

The Angel Run is organized by the Angelic Warrior Foundation, a nonprofit built around one family's experience with colorectal cancer in a young person. The race takes place at Jamison Park in Winston-Salem and offers several distance options, including a kids run, so families tend to show up together. A virtual participation option lets people join from wherever they are and log their activity on the race website.

Packet pickup happens race morning at the park before the start. The schedule moves through opening remarks, a kids run, a moment recognizing cancer warriors, and then the main distances, with an awards and closing ceremony wrapping things up afterward.
