About the Amelia's Voice AW5K
The course starts at the high school and winds through the village streets before hitting one real climb, a big hill on the far end of the loop. After that, the route descends and threads back through quieter residential blocks before returning to the school. The terrain is mostly pavement, and the hill is the one moment that asks something of you.
The race is held each fall and exists to raise awareness around domestic violence, organized in memory of a young woman from the community. The connection to Amelia Wakefield and the grant fund that bears her name gives the morning a weight that stays with you after the finish.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
