About the Amazing Grace Race 5K
The course is a USATF-sanctioned route that starts and finishes at Drayton Mills. The race benefits Sidewalk Hope, a local nonprofit that brings outreach directly into underserved neighborhoods, so the morning carries a sense of purpose beyond the finish line. Age-group awards go to the top finishers in men's, women's, and youth divisions.
Race-day registration opens before the start, giving late deciders a window to join. While families race, younger children have a dedicated play area on the Drayton Mills green space with games, activities, and snacks, which makes the start area feel more like a neighborhood gathering than a typical race morning.
