About the Alpha Run - Wichita
The course runs on a mix of road and trail around the Sunrise Christian Academy campus, so the surface changes underfoot as you go. Several distance options mean the morning draws everyone from young children doing a short sprint to adults running the longer race, and the whole thing is chip timed.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the school, with morning-of pickup available as well. After you finish, there is an indoor pancake breakfast on campus. The event opens with remarks, a devotional, and the national anthem before the first wave heads out.
