The course starts and finishes at the fairgrounds and winds through town on regular roadways. There is no trail or off-road stretch, just neighborhood streets, so the surface is consistent the whole way. The race benefits a local charity alongside the fair itself. Post-race refreshments are back at the fairgrounds.
