About the 2026 AFCEA Run/Walk For STEM 5K
The course runs out and back on an unpaved trail. Loose soil and raised tree roots are part of the deal, so watch your footing. The trail is mostly flat, though it does roll in places. Volunteers and trail staff are posted along the route, and there is an EMT on course as well.
Parking and registration are at the same address, with a short walk from the lot to the start. The race benefits STEM scholarships and grants through the local AFCEA chapter, and raffle prizes are announced on race day.
