About the AdventHealth Rome Turkey Trot 5K and 3K
The course is USATF-certified and qualifies runners for the AJC Peachtree Road Race, which tells you something about its setup. Both routes start within minutes of each other on Thanksgiving morning. The shorter stroll welcomes leashed dogs; the longer route does not. Marshals, both stationary and moving, cover both courses throughout.
Packet pickup runs the two days before the race at GoGo Running/The Shoe Box on Martha Berry Blvd, which saves time on race morning. Free parking is available in the stadium lots at AdventHealth. Water, Gatorade, fruit, and snacks are out at the finish.
