About the Adoption Day 5K
The course runs through Hidden Rock Park, following the park's trails. The setting is wooded and natural, which gives it a quieter feel than a road race. After the run, adoptable pets from Goochland Pet Lovers are there at the park, along with a local food truck.
Packet pickup and registration are handled through the county website ahead of time. The event wraps up midday, so there is time to stay after the race, meet the animals, and grab something to eat before heading out.
