About the Adalyn Rose Foundation's Empty Stroller Run & Walk
The race is held at Jim Dietrich Park and centers on baby and child loss awareness. Many participants push empty strollers as a quiet symbol of the children being honored, though it is entirely optional. There is also a remembrance walk alongside the timed run, so people participate in whatever way fits what brought them there.
The event draws both loss families and supporters, and teams are a big part of how people take part, often formed in memory of a specific child. Satellite locations run on separate days in other cities, and a virtual option lets people participate from wherever they are.
